Once you have submitted this form, we will send an automated receipt email and so please double check (including your junk folder) that this has been received.
Please provide your permanent/fixed home address, not your term-time/student address.

As this scholarship has a focus on equality, diversity and inclusion, the following questions are about personal information and/or characteristics.  You do not need to supply this information, but it may affect the outcome of your application if you do not.

Evidence may be required (this will be indicated below), otherwise internal checks/verification will be carried out where applicable.

If you would like to expand on any of the following topics, you may do so in your personal statement at the end of this application.

Please select which option best describes how you identify your ethnicity.
Do you consider yourself to be disabled?

Please only select "yes" to this question if all of the following statements are true:

  • Your condition is recognised under the Equality Act 2010

As everyone’s situation and journey is different, we do not have a definitive list of evidence required for transgender and non-binary students. What may be relevant for one person, may not be for another. Transgender and non-binary students should not have to prove their identity.

As a guide, these are examples of the evidence students have submitted in the past:

• A personal statement telling us about themselves and their experiences.

• Screenshots of social media posts talking about their identity or coming out

• Evidence that they have legally changed their name by deed poll.

• A supporting letter from a support organisation, GP, medical professional or other professional that they have been in contact with.

This is not a definitive list, and we understand that you may not have any of these or may not want to supply any of these. Please do not feel that you must do something you do not want to do, or normally wouldn’t do, just to be able to supply evidence.

If you are over 25 (or have had "independent" status confirmed by SFE), please answer this question based on your own earnings.

If you are under 25, please answer this question based on your parents' household income.

Although you are not required to provide evidence directly to this application, we reserve the right to make checks where possible and/or request relevant documents (such as P60) if necessary. If your household income in 2026/27 will be vastly different to 2025/26, there is an opportunity to provide extra information about this at the very end of this application form.
