The Student Help Team are looking to recruit a team of enthusiastic and welcoming Student Ambassadors on campus.

Starting at university can be an exciting time and there is lots of information for new students to take in. We need you to help new and returning students navigate the campuses, find out more about their university and provide information on the range of support services available here at Sheffield Hallam. The shifts available will mainly take place during the September 2017 enrolment and induction period.

Get paid work experience on campus to fit alongside your studies.

Duties - what do we ambassadors to do?

  • Welcome new and returning students
  • Provide information and give directions
  • Talk positively about your experiences as a student
  • Facilitate promotional activities
  • Promote Student Support Services

What are we looking for from you?

  • You will be proactive and able to use your initiative.
  • Confidence to share your knowledge and experience about Sheffield Hallam University.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with a high volume and diverse range of enquiries.
  • You will be reliable and a team player.
