As part of our Graduate Support Programme for new graduates, you can access
- expert career guidance and coaching 1:1s in person, by telephone or Skype
- advice on finding job vacancies, including internships and voluntary work
- help with job applications - 1:1 support with job seeking and making applications. Use CV Builder for help with you compiling your CV and have it checked by one of our advisers (use your student username/password)
- support with your interview technique - book a practice interview
- employer presentations, careers fairs, Careers Focus workshops
- access to a range of online diagnostic tools and practice psychometric tests
- help with looking at postgraduate study options
- apply for RISE and SHU Graduate Internship Scheme jobs, attend information sessions and preparatory workshops
Want to look at setting up your own business?
Our Enterprise Team can offer help for up to five years after graduation, including specialist start-up advice. Graduates with a degree in creative media, arts or design can apply for a Creative Graduate Start-up Internship for a 6 month support package to include a £1000 bursary.
