Would you like to:

  • work out how to use your time at University to build your skills and experience
  • find out about internships, placements and sources of work experience?
  • meet employers to find out what they look for in candidates
  • gain tips and advice from final year students

If so, Career Impact could be for you! Our successful Career Impact programme is being offered to first year students. The programme involves three workshops, led by the Careers and Employability Service in conjunction with employers and final year Career Impact students.

Eligibility

The programme is open to first year, home or EU, undergraduate students. You must be able to commit to attending and contributing to all three sessions.

Applications are particularly encouraged from students from a Widening Participation background (in receipt of the Sheffield Hallam Bursary and/or participating in the Government’s National Scholarship Programme, or a first generation entrant to Higher Education), black and minority ethnic students, care leavers, disabled and LGBT students, mature students, and those who are carers for family members.
